RMDTI was honored to have the 2021-2022 RI President Shekhar Mehta Zoom in virtually from India to provide the keynote address to our in-person attendees. It was dinner time in Texas, USA, and pre-dawn in Kolkata, India. After sharing about how we can all #ServeToChangeLives, he entertained questions from the 9 district audience in an interactive format. An estimated 500 million people worldwide became infected. Many cities closed theaters and cinemas, and placed restrictions on public gatherings. Rotary clubs adjusted their activities while also helping the sick.
