There are many pathways to building Peace. The common denominator of these stories is Rotary.

Coffee with Peace Building Impact

Coffee is a powerful tool for peace-building. Columbia has a history of violence and conflict, and many coffee farmers have been affected by it. By drinking Pazifico Coffee you make a positive impact on the lives of coffee growers in Columbia by supporting initiatives that prmote peace, social justice, and economic development in coffee-growing regions. The main porpouse of Pazifico is to improve the living conditions of coffee growing families affected by the armed conflict. Company co-founder, Daniel Cano, was a Rotary Peace Fellow at Uppsala University in Sweden. His recent focus has been to concentrate efforts to reduce the production of cocaine in Colombia by providing economic and technical assistance to farmers in Colombia to produce Specialty coffee as an alternative to substitute illicit crops.
